Things to do
Las Vegas has never been known for doing things halfway. The city is packed with glamorous resorts, elaborate entertainment, bright lights, impressive restaurants, and enough attractions to keep a first-time visitor busy for weeks. But Las Vegas is more than casinos and late nights.
Spend three days here, and there is enough time to walk the Strip, visit Downtown Las Vegas, experience local neighborhoods, enjoy a major show, and even trade neon for red sandstone at Red Rock Canyon.
The trick is not trying to do everything. Las Vegas has a habit of making a short walk look suspiciously easy on a map. In reality, resorts are enormous, attractions take time, and there will probably be at least one unplanned stop involving food.
This 3-day Las Vegas itinerary keeps things moving without turning the trip into an endurance event.
